ISOBAR partners with Worcestershire County Cricket Club to Support Player Recovery beyond the treatment room

25 August 2026

ISOBAR, pioneers of Personalised Compression Therapy, is delighted to be partnering with Worcestershire County Cricket Club, supporting player recovery throughout the demands of elite professional cricket.

The partnership will see Worcestershire County players benefit from ISOBAR's Personalised Compression Therapy system designed to enhance healing and speed recovery through every phase of the performance cycle.

As the demands of professional cricket continue to increase, recovery has become a critical part of performance. From consecutive match days and intensive training blocks to long journeys between fixtures, players spend far more time recovering away from the treatment room than inside it.

At ISOBAR, this is known as The Recovery Gap - the time between structured recovery interventions where athletes must continue to manage recovery independently. Personalised Compression Therapy helps bridge this gap, supporting players during travel, between training sessions and throughout their recovery routine.

Unlike traditional compression garments, ISOBAR combines personalised fit, clinically defined pressure profiles and advanced NeoMeshTM performance fabric to provide compression therapy engineered for the individual athlete.

The demands of a cricket season mean recovery must be continuous. Players can move quickly from a full day in the field or an intensive training session into travel and preparation for the next fixture, so the hours in between become incredibly important. Working with ISOBAR gives our players a practical way to continue supporting their recovery during that time. The personalised fit and defined compression pressures give us confidence that what each player is wearing has been designed for them, while fitting easily into the routines we already have in place.

Andy Powell, Head of Science and Medicine, Worcestershire County Cricket Club

Professional cricketers face an incredibly demanding schedule, often balancing consecutive training sessions, match days and long periods of travel. Recovery doesn't begin and end with treatment; it's something athletes manage throughout their day. We're delighted to partner with Worcestershire County Cricket Club to help players bridge The Recovery Gap with personalised recovery solutions designed around the individual.

Clive Gunther, CEO at ISOBAR

Throughout the partnership, ISOBAR will work closely with Worcestershire County Cricket Club to explore the role recovery plays in elite cricket and support players beyond training and competition, helping them prepare for every session, every match and every journey.

The partnership reflects a shared belief that better recovery leads to better performance. By advancing the science of compression therapy, ISOBAR is helping athletes receive the right therapy, at the right pressure, for the right outcome.
