ISOBAR and British Cycling Extend Partnership to Support World-Class Performance and Recovery in Preparation for 2028 LA Games
27 July 2026
ISOBAR®, the UK's leader in personalised compression therapy and British Cycling are delighted to announce the renewal of their partnership which will continue to support Olympic and Paralympic cyclists across the Great Britain Cycling Team’s World Class Performance Programme.
The renewed agreement builds on the success from supporting the riders at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The partnership has seen ISOBAR work closely with British Cycling's performance team to support athlete recovery, travel and competition preparation through its personalised compression technology.
Unlike traditional compression garments that rely on generic sizing and estimated pressure ranges, ISOBAR combines personalised pressure engineering, ISOFIT® video body scanning and advanced NeoMeshTM fabric for lasting performance to deliver compression tailored to the individual size, shape and recovery needs.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation, performance optimisation and athlete wellbeing.
"British Cycling continues to set the standard for high-performance sport, and we're incredibly proud to extend our partnership with such a world-class organisation. Recovery is a critical part of performance, yet it is often approached using generic solutions. Through this partnership, we're helping athletes access personalised compression therapy that is built around their individual physiology and recovery needs. We're excited to continue working alongside the Great Britain Cycling Team as they prepare for the next chapter of international competition and the lead up to the LA Games in 2028."
Over the course of the partnership, British Cycling athletes and performance staff have integrated ISOBAR products into their wider recovery strategies, using personalised compression therapy to support recovery between training sessions, competition preparation, travel and rehabilitation.
“The Great Britain Cycling Team has a long-standing reputation of being a world-leader in cycling, and in order to maintain this position, we need to make sure we are maximising every single area of our riders’ potential ability. While what most people see is performance in competition, our riders cannot deliver this without high-quality preparation and recovery. This is why we’re so pleased to continue our partnership with the innovators at ISOBAR. The partnership we have developed in the lead up to the Paris Games was just the start of what I believe this partnership can achieve for our performance programme and I look forward to continuing to work with a local, industry-leading team through to LA 2028.”
The announcement follows a period of continued growth for ISOBAR. As part of the renewed partnership, ISOBAR will supply personalised compression solutions across British Cycling's track, BMX racing and freestyle, and para-cycling programmes, supporting athletes through every phase of the performance and recovery cycle from training and competition to travel, rehabilitation and return to performance.
It will also see ISOBAR collaborate with British Cycling on athlete education, performance insights and content that explores the role of recovery within elite sport.
